The product, before the polish.

The first pitch already had the whole loop: request a doctor, pay for the consultation, speak by video, and receive a signed medical certificate without making the trip to a waiting room.

a small, useful company

One problem. A much shorter path through it.

The Medic sat between goCatch and Audience Republic: a tightly focused product that made access to a doctor less bureaucratic when leaving home was exactly what you did not want to do.

I built the business, took it to market, and sold it to 1st Group in 2016. Delivery and integration work continued after the deal, keeping me involved through 2017. It was deliberately narrow — a useful reminder that a product can matter without becoming a sprawling platform.
