my part in it

A real-world system, moving through a city.

I led product and engineering through a formative stretch of goCatch. The interesting work lived between the screens: location, dispatch, payments, driver supply, and the sharp edges that appear when software meets a person waiting on a kerb.

It was an early lesson in building for consequence. A button could move a car across Sydney, but only if the whole system earned trust.
